Hot Girl Summer in Full Effect: Updates + New Services!
To say the last few months have been busy is an understatement. I'm officially licensed as a Financial Advisor in Ontario! My mission is to bridge the gap between finance and marginalized folk so they can improve their spending habits, build wealth and live better. Studying and taking exams was not easy and the work is not over. Finance is so layered that I'll always be learning.
If you attended my virtual business launch party, THANK YOU! If you won a giveaway, YAY YOU! If you've supported me in any way, thank you so so much!
These are my services:
- Insurance, Investment, Banking consultations
- Financial Analysis Appointments
- Investing 101 Sessions
- Financial Literacy Workshops
- Instagram Live Features, Interviews and Takeovers
- Event Hosting and Guest Speaking
- Workshop Facilitation
Since starting my journey in the finance industry, I've met so many people, on social media and in real life, in the same field. I am always willing to connect and collaborate so we can make finance as accessible and digestible as possible. If you would like to work together to bring financial literacy workshops to your audiences or are interested in my services, send me an email at financesfortheculture@gmail.com or find me on Instagram: @financefortheculture
More Updates
You know I'm a self-proclaimed goal digger right? My new financial goal is to save $10,000 by the end of this year. I'm using the same strategy as my previous goals with a few additions.
1. Allocate 80% of each pay check to my goal
2. Any money I make from my workshops and collaborations go straight into my $10,000 account
3. Stick to a $150-200 play budget every pay check
4. Keep shopping to 1-2 times a month
5. Bring loose change and coin rolls to the bank to deposit into account
6. Deposit birthday money into account
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I live by this. You must set goals, plan your pay checks, spend intentionally and make sure your money has a destination. Side note: I don't just save money to save. I already have my emergency fund full and being funded monthly. I save additional money to invest most of it so it can make more money. Saving won't build wealth, investing will. If you want to learn the basics of investing so your money can make money even when you're not working, book an Investing 101 Session with me.
